Flu Shots for Residents Age 60+

Boy on older man's shoulders; I get it to protect my family from flu; get your flu shot.

Online pre-registration is required, and Town staff will be available to assist if you have difficulty with this process.

Thursday, October 6
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Lexington Community Center, 39 Marrett Road
Register for the October 6 clinic

Wednesday, October 12
11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Health Fair at Scottish Masonic Hall, 33 Marrett Road
Register for the October 12 clinic

When registering, you will first encounter a screen that will allow you to select different types of adult vaccines (COVID, shingles, Hep B). You must select the flu vaccine option (we are not offering the other options). See a sample of the registration screen.

If you have difficulty registering, contact the Human Services Department at 781-698-4840 for assistance.

These clinics will have limited Fluzone High Dose, which is licensed for use for those 65 years and older, and offers enhanced protection from flu.

The Health Office plans to hold additional flu clinics, which will be announced when details are finalized.

As always, flu vaccine is available at doctor’s offices, walk-in clinics and commercial pharmacies.
