Join us for Sustainability Day, where we will be highlighting how farmers and vendors practice sustainable methods in their farming and/or business models. In addition, we will be hosting local sustainability groups and organizations focused on composting, zero waste and green transportation, while offering up community actions and opportunities that you can engage with right here in Lexington.
Join us for Sustainability Day, where we will be highlighting how farmers and vendors practice sustainable methods in their farming and/or business models. Learn what sustainability looks like as part of the local food system with facts about sustainability efforts and celebrate the individual commitment of each farmer and vendor in the LFM community.
In addition, we will be hosting local sustainability groups and organizations focused on composting, zero waste and green transportation, while offering up community actions and opportunities that you can engage with right here in Lexington.
It will be a great way to learn how you can contribute to a more sustainable future by supporting local food, farms and farmers' markets, take action to reduce your carbon footprint, and implement simple strategies to make a difference in your local community.
