Seasonal restrictions for gas-powered leaf blowers will be in effect this summer, and their use is not allowed from June 1 until September 14. Ahead of these restrictions going into-effect, Town staff will host a community meeting to present the details of the bylaw, discuss enforcement, and answer the public’s questions.

Representatives from the Police and Public Works departments, as well as the Town Manager’s Office, will be available to answer questions.

We’ll also be joined by Jamie Banks (Founder and President of Quiet Communities) and Dan Mabe (Founder and President of the American Green Zone Alliance) for a presentation addressing the benefits and strategies for overcoming challenges associated with electric equipment. They will also discuss how homeowners can play a role in the transition to electric equipment.
