Meet in front of the Crafty Yankee on Mass Ave in Lexington Center by 8:50AM to catch the 9AM Route A2 Lexpress bus, or board along the way. Our guide, Keith Omart, will be holding a Lexpress Walk sign. We will get off at the intersection of Waltham Street and Concord Avenue and the walk will end at Avalon at Lexington Hills, where we'll board the A2 to return to Depot Square.

Brookhaven to Avalon via the Western Greenway
This 2+ mile, 2 hour walk will explore the trail connection through the Beaver Brook North Conservation property between Brookhaven and Avalon at Lexington Hills via a portion of the Western Greenway Trail. Along the way we will pass a couple of old cellar holes and travel along a short section of colonial Shade Street. Don’t forget your binoculars if you want to do little bird watching - it will be the height of spring migration!
