Overview
The Water/Sewer Abatement Board receives applications from ratepayers for abatement or adjustment of water/sewer charges due to disputes, hardship, or error.
The Board establishes policies and procedures to guide them in determining the amount of any adjustment or abatement of charges. Recommendations must be submitted to the Select Board for final approval. The Assistant Town Manager for Finance or designee shall serve as staff to the Water and Sewer Abatement Board.
