Planning Process
The Tourism Committee, with approval from the Board of Selectmen (now called the Select Board), embarked on a broad, inclusive process for development of a Battle Green Master Plan. On March 19, 2009 the Board approved the process that would guide our work.
Use of the Battle Green
May 23, 2022 - Due to construction on and around the Battle Green, the Select Board has temporarily suspended permitting use of the Battle Green at this time for requests received from external applicants. In November 2022, The Select Board will reevaluate this pause on permitting.
