Bordered by Hanscom Air Force Base and home to MIT Lincoln Laboratory, this district is one of the most prominent defense industry and life sciences related hubs in the Boston area.
The district is Lexington's largest with over 17 million square feet of land area and easily accessible from Boston as well as from the north.

Directly adjacent to Route 128/I95, this is the location for Lexington's newest hotels and globally connected, high-tech businesses.

Hayden Avenue District
This area has a strong cluster of life sciences companies. Characterized by its wide laws and treed vistas, the area hosts leading companies such as Shire HGT, Cubist Pharmaceuticals and Vista Print.
With a land area of over 11 million square feet adjacent to the intersection of Routes 128 and Route 2, the area offers convenient access to both suburban Boston centers as well as to Cambridge - the biotech center of the region.
