Lexington Center Workshop — The Journey Forward

Join us on November 17 and 18 for a unique event bringing together residents, business owners, and other community stakeholders to discuss and identify implementable priorities for the future of Lexington Center.

Help Plan the Future of Lexington Center

In September 2022, the Planning Board adopted LexingtonNEXT — the Comprehensive Plan, which includes a plan for Lexington’s economic vitality (PDF). The goal is to promote a vital economy, including a variety of small and large businesses that contribute to the tax base and provide goods and services to meet the needs of residents, employees, and visitors.

Consistent with their goals, the Select Board is excited to announce a two-day community workshop focusing on rejuvenating the downtown area and increasing its vibrancy.

Lexington Center Strategies: Preparing for the Center Workshop

Review of Our Strategic Directions

There is now a handout available for participants to review ahead of time. Lexington Center Strategies (PDF) is a detailed compilation of our current and future strategic approaches.

It includes two sections: one outlining the strategies we have successfully implemented and another focusing on our ongoing and new strategic initiatives.

We encourage all participants to review this document prior to the workshop. Your insights and understanding of these strategies will be valuable in our discussions and will contribute significantly to the effectiveness of the workshop.

How to RSVP

Registration is requested but not required to attend. (Pre-registration helps us plan the event.) Participants are welcome to attend some or all of the events — your feedback is what is important.

We look forward to your participation in shaping the future of Lexington Center!
