Lexington's website received Common Cause of Massachusetts'
eGovernment Award for 2010, recognizing that Lexington posts its
governing body’s minutes and agenda, its budget, its bylaws, and its town meeting
warrant and results. (posted March 17, 2010)
Collection of additional trash from flooding - Lexington's curbside refuse
collection vendor, JRM Hauling and Recycling Inc. will collect additional curbside trash
(including bulky items such as furniture) in Lexington until Friday, April 2.

-> Call JRM at 1-800-323-4285 to collect appliances and electronics separately;
-> Bring approved hazardous waste products to a Household Hazardous Waste
Collection Day (first one scheduled 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24);
-> Contact a professional waste hauler to remove construction and demolition debris.
