Lexington Previews New Smart Meters in the Center The Town of Lexington will install new smart meters in Lexington Center on September 28, 2015.   The smart meters will accept credit card payment and provide useful data to better manage on-street parking. The initial set of 21 new meters will be located along Meriam Street adjacent to the Lexington Visitors Center and along the north side of Massachusetts Avenue near CVS Pharmacy.  After a three month preview an additional 100 smart meters will be installed along Mass Avenue.
