Welcome to the Lexington Fire Department's website.  Hopefully your visit here will be informative and helpful.  The members of the Lexington Fire Department take a great deal of pride in serving the citizens of Lexington and visitors alike in a professional and dedicated manner.

The Department is comprised of 57 personnel providing administrative, fire prevention/code enforcement and emergency services.  There are 52 firefighters, in four working groups of 13 personnel, providing fire suppression, EMS and rescue services from two fire stations.

Administrative staff also coordinate Lexington's emergency management functions.
