Description of Services: Lexington offers a variety of transportation options to get you around town, neighboring communities, and greater Boston.

LEXPRESS - A fixed-route, neighborhood minibus service operated by the Town of Lexington.

Seniors/People with Disabilities - A listing of public and private transportation options available for seniors and residents with special needs. 

MBTA - MBTA bus #62 operates between the Bedford VA Hospital and Alewife Station with stops in Lexington Center and Arlington Heights. The #76 bus operates between Hanscom/Lincoln Labs and Alewife Station with stops in Lexington Center.

Lex-Connect - A door-to-door reduced fare taxi ride program for residents who are 60+ years of age or have a disability. 

128 Business Council - Provides express shuttle service between Alewife Station and the Hayden Avenue and Hartwell Avenue business districts. The REV shuttle includes a stop in Lexington Center for any Lexington commuter in need of express service to/from Alewife Station. 

Burlington B-Line - The Burlington B-Line bus system connects with Lexpress at the Burlington Mall and Middlesex Commons.

Lowell Regional Transit - LRTA connects with Lexpress at the Burlington Mall.

Minuteman Bike Path - A regional rails-to-trails system that connects the towns of Bedford, Lexington, Arlington and Cambridge. 

Logan Airport - Public transit connections to Logan Airport are from Alewife Station via the MBTA, or from the Anderson Transportation Center in Woburn via Logan Express.

Mass Rides - Commuters can learn about ride sharing programs and financial incentives that promote public transit through Mass Rides, a free, State service. 

Massachusetts Transit Links - Learn about a broad range of transportation options in Massachusetts.

Parking Permits - Lexington Police Department now operates the Parking Permit program to accommodate employees working in Lexington Center.

Parking in Lexington Center - The Center has lots of parking and connections to other transportation modes.
